Lily Ayotte is an interdisciplinary actor and writer who works out of Boston, Massachusetts.

Since graduating with BA in Theater and Psychology from Suffolk University in 2022, Lily Ayotte has been pursuing her dream of being in the creative world of theater and film. She has found that her dedication, passion, and hard work have lead her to some amazing opportunities around the New England area.

She began her acting career with Commonwealth Shakespeare Company, where she participated in both their 2021 and 2022 apprentice program. From there, she was lucky enough to remain with the company for their 2023 production of Romeo and Juliet, where she played Juliet. She also had the pleasure of making her debut on the main stage of the Boston Commons with Macbeth. During this time, she also had the pleasure of working with Hub Theatre Company of Boston for their production of Into the Breeches! She has also continuously worked with film companies around New England on various projects. To view her film reel, visit Film

In her junior year of college, she began honing her skills in playwriting, eventually finishing her one-act piece Put to Rest. She then directed this piece as her senior project, inspiring her to continue to produce her work. After graduation, she began writing her first full-length script, Family Vacation. This was chosen for the 2024 Broadway Bound Theatre Festival in New Canaan, CT, where she self-produced the piece with the help of the festival. She continues to write new work and looks forward to sharing it with audiences.

Ayotte said she had 15 drafts saved to her computer based on feedback she got from Skomal and at table reads...
One of the biggest lessons Ayotte learned through making the show was the power of her own strength.
