Lily Ayotte is an interdisciplinary actor and writer who works out of Boston, Massachusetts.

Since 2009, she has been performing with both community and professional theater companies around the New England area, such as The Amato Center for Performing Arts, Commonwealth Shakespeare Company, and Hub Theatre Company of Boston. She trained as a dancer for seven years, with her focus mainly on musical theater, jazz, and hip hop, competing for three years in the hip hop category.

While pursuing her BA in Theatre and Psychology at Suffolk University, she wrote Put to Rest, her first one act play. During the fall of 2021, she directed this piece for a one-night only performance, which was recorded and can be found under ‘Film’. She continues to develop her writing with new pieces.

In 2022, she began acting professionally in both theater and film. She began working with companies such as Hub Theatre Company of Boston (Into the Breeches!) and Commonwealth Shakespeare Company (Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth, Pericles). She also began working with local production companies on films such as Lightkeepers, UAP, and Mr.Winslow’s Bell. Be on the lookout for her next feature-length film, Outside Salem.

One of the biggest lessons Ayotte learned through making the show was the power of her own strength.
